Pot Pourri is a mix a leaves, roots, blossoms and buds that spontaneously grow in the Tuscan Hills maquis. One of the most iconic and appreciated Officina’s products, it has been crafted in our workshop for over three centuries. The Firenze 1221 Special Edition envelopes all the Tuscany’s aromas into a flowery motive that stems from the “Sala Verde” decorations in our historic flagship store in Via della Scala 16. The perfect stage to relive a unique’s environment bouquet.

800 Years of Legacy

Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella sets its roots back to 1221. Founded as a Dominican friars convent, it is renowned from its beginnings for the formulation of perfumes and remedies. Its apothecary art legacy crosses eight centuries and is deeply intertwined with Florence’s history: considered world’s oldest pharmacy, it carries its activities in the very places where they all began.

How to Use

Open and place on a ceramic plate or use it as a refill for any other Pot Pourri creation: Terracotta Jar, Ceramic Vase, Ceramic Sphere. To increase the fragrance's intensity, place more than one Pot Pourri plate in a large room.

Just like Susan Harvey I walked into the Tetbury antique store and just adored the fragrance from a small bowl of pot pouring that filled a cavernous space. It’s now filling my home and thrilled to bits.

We live in the UK and we visited an Antique Centre in Tetbury.
As I walked through the door the fragrance of this pot pourri lifted my spirits and drew me to the display.
Of course I had to buy some and when we are in Florence in March 23....I will be visiting the outlet for more purchases!

I am breathing in the wonderful fragrance of eucalyptus, sage, sandlewood, pine, and a few more I cannot identify!
