Eau de Cologne
Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella’s Vetiver fragrance is a woody oriental scent. Vetiver is native of the Orient. In India the roots, up to 5 meters long, are woven into aromatic floor mats; walking on them releases the fragrance. The dry, fresh fragrance is made with noble essences. It is dedicated to people who elegantly reinterpret traditional values, mixing them with a spirit of adventure.
Olfactory Family: Woody oriental notes
Top: lemon, jasmine, bitter orange peel
Middle: rose, bitter orange flowers, vetiver
Base: patchouli, oakmoss, vanilla
I've been on a spree lately smelling every vetiver fragrance I could get my nose on; inspired by the complexity and intrigue of the Le Labo Vetiver. One whiff of the SMN and it was apparent I was in another world altogether. This is VETIVER: very bold and up front with no frills. I love the first 30 minutes of the fragrance but the wear down for the rest of the day is intoxicating. Lasts a good long while as well, especially if applied to clothes. If you like the smell of vetiver (and maybe rosewood and some VERY slight patchouli, though that could just be my nose), this is a no-brainer.
