Woody Oriental Notes

In India, the long roots of vetiver are woven to create aromatic mats used to scent spaces when trodden upon. This dry and refined fragrance opens with a citrusy freshness, setting the stage for an enveloping heart of rose and bitter orange blossoms. Lastly, the vanilla base, with musky notes, adds a warm and earthy depth.

VETIVER

I've been on a spree lately smelling every vetiver fragrance I could get my nose on; inspired by the complexity and intrigue of the Le Labo Vetiver. One whiff of the SMN and it was apparent I was in another world altogether. This is VETIVER: very bold and up front with no frills. I love the first 30 minutes of the fragrance but the wear down for the rest of the day is intoxicating. Lasts a good long while as well, especially if applied to clothes. If you like the smell of vetiver (and maybe rosewood and some VERY slight patchouli, though that could just be my nose), this is a no-brainer.
