Gelsomino Eau de Parfum prende il nome da una varietà rara coltivata nella Stufa dei Mugherini, a Villa di Castello. Bergamotto, mandarino e pepe rosa in apertura. Gelsomino sambac, geranio e ylang-ylang al cuore. Cedro e muschio sul fondo. Nel 1688, Cosimo III de' Medici ricevette in dono dal re Pietro II del Portogallo una rara varietà di gelsomino proveniente da Goa. La pianta era curata esclusivamente dai suoi botanici personali e divenne nota come il Gelsomino del Granduca. L'Eau de Parfum prende questo gelsomino come elemento centrale della sua composizione: floreale e speziato in apertura, con un fondo legnoso. Dalla collezione I Giardini Medicei.

I came to Gelsomino by way of a miniature, and it proved the wiser course. Where lesser jasmines announce themselves with indolic excess, this one wears its white blossoms with a gardener's precision — luminous yet composed, heady without excess, as though the flower were gathered at dawn rather than at dusk. The scent settles beautifully: a luminous floral heart softened by green undertones and a clean, powdery base. It carries with dignity and endures gracefully — the miniature, modest as it was, lasted weeks of daily wear. Several discerning acquaintances remarked upon it unprompted, which I have come to regard as the surest endorsement a fragrance can receive. The full bottle has been ordered; for admirers of jasmine done properly, I can offer no higher counsel.
