Melograno im Terrakotta-Gefäß

New one has very weak scent.

I bought my first one in Florence in 2023 and loved it. The scent was so strong at first, I had to keep it in the plastic cover that came in for a while. Eventually I opened it and the scent filled not only the room but the entire floor, and the scent lasted over 2 years. Recently, after almost 2.5 years later, my original one's scent finally started to fade, so I purchased a new one at the shop in Kyoto. I noticed that I didn't smell anything from the package, so I asked the clerk to get me the newest one they had. Still I couldn't smell anything from the box, but I thought maybe the package changed. After I came back home and opened it, I immediately noticed the scent was very weak. It's been only a few months since my purchase but the scent is almost gone. I am very disappointed. I feel like the one I purchased in Florence was really soaked in the cologne, it almost felt wet at first. The new one was pretty dry. When I bought it in Florence, it was wrapped in a hard plastic shell. The one I bought in Kyoto was wrapped in a soft plastic bag with a twist tie. I wonder if they changed the way to soak the scent, or changed the packaging and the scent got weak during the transport. I noticed the tablets I bought in Kyoto were weaker than the ones I bought in Florence too. I think I will stick to bottled fragrance from now on until I can go back to Florence and buy directly from the store.

Produit que j’achète depuis des années, sauf que cette année il devait arriver le 30 décembre et il est arrivé le 9 janvier ! Terre cuite, jolie à regarder, et dont il émane un Parfum extraordinaire
