To the razor's aftermath this house brings what the modern grooming counter has largely forgotten: decorum. Melograno reveals itself as an antique pomegranate — powdery, faintly rosy, possessed of a sweetness that belongs to Renaissance still-life rather than to any contemporary fragrance counter. Yet its true distinction lies less in scent than in temperament: it cools without sting, restores without residue, and yields a face that remains quietly perfumed for hours thereafter. Where lesser splashes announce themselves and vanish, this one abides — a whisper, disclosed only to proximity.
